Approval Notifications not being received

I am facing an issue in Approvals in Power Automate flow.

The run shows that the step has been executed and the approval request has been sent but the receiver didn’t receive it.

In MS Teams, it also shows that the Approval request has been sent.  It happened only a couple of times in our flow which is there for over 2 years.

What could be the possibility of not being received by the Approver?

    Hi @Anonymous 

     

    Three ways of checking approval action: 

    1. Email on Outlook as an actionable message

    2. A card on teams to which the user can respond

    3. On the make.powerautomate.com portal, on the left Nav there is a navigation link to the approvals page where the user can review all the approvals they have received and sent. 

     

    For instances when an approval was not received via email, most likely the cause is organization policies on the Outlook mailbox to filter out emails that have actionable contents (like button clicks that send requests to other services). Can you check on this?

    I had this and it was a permissions issue. The user was not part of the environment that the flow was created on.
