Hi Folks,

I need help in creating a flow to move data from sharepoint folder to Azure blob container. but sharepoint folder contains Excel file which has spaces in the file name e.g Sample (1).xlsx I want the file name in the Azure Blob should not contain spaces e.g Sample(1).xlsx. at last, after successfully moving data, the file should be deleted from sharepoint folder.

Regards,

Ankit

    Hi @ankit25269697

Not sure what trigger you are using for your requirement. Here I have used a manual trigger.

My file is SharePoint document library:

Here above compose action step I used the below expression to remove unwanted spaces

    replace(trim(outputs('Get_file_metadata_using_path')?['body/DisplayName']),' ','')

Here is my blob container after running the flow.

    Thanks

    Hi @abm,

Thank you for the solution, can you please tell me, Instead of single file what need to be done if we have a folder from where we are moving the file from share point to azure blob. also need automatic trigger to trigger flow whenever file is uploaded into the sharepoint folder.

    Hi @ankit25269697

Are you looking for when a new file is created in a folder or from a folder read all the files and move to Azure? What's your trigger?

    Hi @abm,

Scenario -  Tt is a shared folder so anyone can upload the file into that sharept. folder and whenever someone uploaded a file then it should trigger the flow automatically.

    Hi @abm ,

I think trigger for this case will be "when file is created or modified in a folder". not sure though.

Above compose expression is as follows:

    replace(trim(triggerOutputs()?['body/{FilenameWithExtension}']),' ','')

Let me know how you get on.
