Hello everyone,

I'd appreciate any ideas/ help here.

I'm trying to make a interactive measurement tool. It has multiple drop down boxes for people to pick, each option in the drop down box corresponding to a percentage, depending on which option people choose, the there will be a gauge that show the calculated percentage level.

I've been looking for the solution and couldn't find it anywhere. Any idea if is it possible to do that?

Somebody probably has an example online somewhere, but I'd imagine it revolves around you doing some math on the X/Y and/or height/width of a label field w/ a null Text and a background color set to something different than the default and non-transparent.
Depending on if you're looking for something averaged across entries or more of a "completion" bar (e.g. 70% complete) kind of look and feel you might approach it slightly differently.

Do you want to get a calculated percentage level according to the selections of drop downs?
Could you deacribe more clearly about how dose the calculated percentage level come out?
I suggest you use the If statement to justify the drop down's selection.
If you want to use the value of the drop down's selection, you could try this formula:
Value(drop down1.selectedtext)

so my drop down options are texts, how can i tie it to a number?

Let me elaborate more on the calculation:

For example: There are 3 drop down boxes, whithin those drop down boxes, there are multiple options.
Options are text format, not number, how can i tie a number to the option?
So i select an option (=20%) in dropdown box 1, an option (=50%) in dropdown box 2 , an option (=10%) in dropdown box 3.

How can i make the gauge move to 20%+50%+10%= 80%, what calculation should be make?

Populate it with a Collection instead of a single-column "list" (which is actually converted to a Collection behind the scenes for you).
You could use:  ClearCollection(myDropDown{Display:"Text to display",Value:50});
This creates a Collection named myDropDown. Set your Items in the DropDown to be myDropDown. Set the Value to be Display.
When a user selects something you can access the numeric value of the selected item by using: yourDropDownName.Selected.Value

So my drop down is created from a SP list, which i couldnt find anywhere to set my Item/Value, and i'm not sure which property to put in the Collection formula...

I've made a similar test for your reference:(Title is the text column in sharepoint, you should change it to your column name)
Set the drop down's OnChange:
Set(a,Substitute(Dropdown1.Selected.Title,"%",""))
Set(b,Substitute(Dropdown2.Selected.Title,"%",""))
Set(c,Substitute(Dropdown3.Selected.Title,"%",""))
Set the label's Text:
Text(a+b+c,"[$-en-US]#%")
