Hi

We have a Jira query result subscription email, that has an inline html table and inside this tables the Jira ID, Summary , Assignee etc shows without any issues.

I have create a flow ( using Create File ) to convert the content in the body to an HTML file in Share point.

Now I see the same conetnt in html view inside this newly creatd file All works good till this step.

Next , how can we convert this HTML or the Actual Jira Issue listing email into a csv ?

Attached is the email I have form Jira in my inbox.

    Hi
As far as I know, PowerAutomate does not have any scraping tool to translate HTML tables into csv yet.
Having said that, if you manage to extract the html table my means of string manipulation functions, then convert it to xml, and then use xpath() to identify rows (tr) and cells (td) you have some chances to achieve what you are looking for.
If you want to explore my suggestion, the first step is to analyze the email body html code
    Hope this helps

    Hi @Anonymous ,

As @efialttes suggested, we need to extract the HTML table first, and then we can parse the data contained in the HTML table and convert it into the expected file format.

If the format of the extracted data is XML, you can try to use the Convert XML to JSON conversion action included in Cloudmersive Document Conversion connector to convert the XML to JSON first, then use Parse JSON to parse the data and use Create CSV table action to create CSV table.

Also, I noticed that you created the HTML file using the original content in the body. Can this file content also be used to create a CSV file? Please take a try.

I used Power BI ( outside the  Power Automate) to read the converted HTML and post the final Sheet into Share point.

JIra emails the report > Power automate reads and convert to HTML > Power Automate saves to SP

Power BI reads the HTML tables then do all the calcs then post the Sheet to Share point !! Yaaay
