Log message action is on real time?

Wondering if this is working as supposed because the description seems to suggest that the logging would happen in real time and you'd be able to actually follow a PAD process from Power Automate portal step by step. However, currently all the logged data comes available only after the flow has finished in similar fashion as the PAD monitor.

Should it be like this or am I missing something? Also, if this is working as intended, how come there is no built-in solution for logging real time messages from a PAD flow so that it'd actually be possible to monitor your flows?

I don't think its supposed to be in real time. You can only see the log message after the flow has run.
Usually people implement something like csv file that the flow updates in the middle of it. And the csv file would be stored on OneDrive or some other cloud storage. (like so https://youtu.be/QjrxLPg_TdI?t=3510 )
It would be nice if there was actual real time log action but not yet.

Pity, you would think that something like this would be easy to implement but guess not. And yeah, we've been using our own db for the real time logs but were hoping that this action would let us stay in Platform environment. Of course, most of the competition already have this in place.
