Flow failing with: BadRequest. The request failed. Error code: 'InvalidApprovalRequestor'.

I have a flow that has been running for over a year successfully. Today I got the error: 
BadRequest. The request failed. Error code: 'InvalidApprovalRequestor'. Error Message: 'The approval requestor must be a single, valid user account within your organization.
When I look at the output, the SharePoint column shows the correct email address for the user. This user has been an approver before and the flow ran successfully.
I did go to the SharePoint item and remove the name and add it back and the flow still fails.
Any ideas?

    I am a little confused as in i can no longer tell if its working but you get an error or if it actually fails?
     
    If its failing can you please turn off the new ui.
    Show the flow in a Run that failed, showing the inputs and outputs etc.
     
    I'd like to verify what its trying to use. Sometimes updates can do things like add spaces etc that shouldn't be there.
     
    Just want to check. If you can repro in dev(say update it to be to you in your configuratin or however you obtain the email addresses) and if we can repro it there and with you, then I can help easily.
