Hi All,

Would like to know is there any other way to extract alphanumeric from an image?

As I require to generate a report from a portal. But the report generated by the portal is a image format.

I tried to use extract text using OCR, but it never extract accurately.

Such as this image:

When I extracted using OCR, it will return as :

O Inbound Maximum : Current : 18.23 M Average: 11.11 M 34.34 M

Outbound Maximum : Current : 14.22 M Average: 10.64 M 24.87 M

If there is no other way but needed to use OCR, what is the best way I can extract only the last 2 number behind on each row?

Thanks

    After extracting data by using PCR then you can use parse text activity...

    By giving regex pattern in parse text activity you can extract the numbers which you want

    Hope this helps

    Use parse text activity give the input as the output of ocr activity

    Then enable regular expression then

    Write the pattern as (?<=Average:).*

    Then enable all accurances

    And your output will be stored in match variable

    Hope this helps

    Regex pattern is (?<=Average:\s).*\d

    and you need to remove M by using replace text activity by giving %""% to replace as shown below
