I am quite new to powerautomate and would like to ask your help. To give you an overview:

I have created a flow for a tracking of check being transmitted to different employees. This flow involves three stages of approval which are 'acknowledge', 'provide an OR' and final approval. The flow starts with a "requestor" where he creates an item in a sharepointlist with the details and put a person in the field "Assignee". This then triggers the flow to pass the three stages of approval. Which goes between the "assignee" and "requestor".

All of the status after approvals are being record in a sharepoint list.

Now my problem is, since the one who created the item (Requestor) in sharepoint list is about to leave the company and we need to change this "requestor" field to his successor. Some of the items has already been approved in the "acknowledge" stage and some are not.

Now my question is, is it possible that I will be just changing the requestor directly in the sharepoint list to his successor and expect that the flow will still continue on the next approval with this new requestor?

I also don't want to cancel the workflows and change the requestor to his successor and resubmit as this will cause some confusions with the "Assignees".

The items in the sharepoint list have already grown in to numbers and I would just like to change the field "requestor" to the person who is his successor. Please see sample sharepoint list below:

I have tested several items which I changed the requestor field to a new one. However, the previous requestor still receives the final approval for the item. Is there anyway where I can change the requestor and just continue with the worfklow with the new "requestor" in the middle of a running flow?
