Hi,
If i change a datacards default textinput that has a text field from a sharepoint list source to a custom datacard with a dropdown and a few select fields can i somehow reload this information into a editform (is it lookup?) or do i have to use two forms and two screens.
ie editform to change and view old list items and a canvas to add new items with custom dropdowns etc.
@Anonymous I believe your question is "if I change a field to Choice from a Text field how do I add a drop-down?"
#1 Refresh the datasource using the left-side menu
#2 Delete the Card from the form
#3 Re-add the Card to the form and the dropdown will automatically appear

No its not,
Ill reword my question,
I have a standard 3 screen app with a sharepoint list, one of my fields is a text column with a text input but i decided i wanted it to have a dropdown in there instead (i changed the update command) without changing my sharepoint column from text to a choice column.
When i add a new item the dropdown works fine its fine, however when i go to view a previous entry the dropdown does not display the correct value it loads the default value (the first one) how can i make the dropdown display the actual value of the text column in the dropdown.
