Gallery not pulling in default selected items from combo box

I have an edit form that is pulling in defaults from a prior screen. In this form there is a gallery that is pulling it's items from a combo box. This info from the combo box is then used to populate a gallery. I am able to pull in the items to the combo box but the gallery is not picking up the selected items from the combo box now.

Hi @cmilligan262 .

I assume the combo box is multi-Select? What code are you using in the Gallery Label to display the selected items and what are the Items of the Combo Box?

Yes the combo box is multi-select. Below is the code for the gallery:

Sort(ComboBox.SelectedItems ,Result,Ascending)

It is directly referencing the combo box. The code for the label is ThisItem.Result

Hi @cmilligan262 ,

I have done a test here as below - mine is a choices field, but that should not make a difference - the label in the gallery is ThisItem.Value

What is different in yours?

It pulls in fine with the items when I'm using it as a new screen. I'm also using this screen as an edit screen and pulling in the defaults from the selected record. The only time it has issues is when the combo box is populated from the defaults, at that point the gallery won't populate with the items from the combo box.

The item I have posted was on the Defaults (so I cannot duplicate your outcome). You could try concat on the underlying field if he SelectedItems are blank.
