I am doing filters on galleries and never had this problem before. Now when I do a startswith based in the Title Column in a SP list I get absolutley no resulte to the filter. All Ok with other columns. Never had the issue before

hmm thats a strange one.
StartsWith is delegable with SharePoint datasources, so long as the column type is of type Single Line of Text.

how many items are in your list?
your Title column is of type Single Line of Text ? (i had a feeling there was something special about the Title column)
the other columns you tested with, where also of type Single Line of Text?

By default, the title column is a single line of text that cannt be changed. Every list gets it.
Over all there are only 30 items so far so small list. The gallery filters on the title and anoth text field called site.
I do note that the filter does not show title as field name but another name called Item whic I must of renamed to. In the past you had to use title as field name but it seems both are now there to use. Neither present an error and it is delegable,
I did a work around and create a new column called items. Pasted all the items from title to it and now use that column when I add new records. It all works now. Just concerned if there is now a glitch with title will I start getting in on older apps? None of my users are complaining but I have seem new updates cause problems in the past.
