Trigger Failed on my first simple flow

Hello Everyone,

I'm attempting to run my first flow. I made a simple one using the "When a file is modified, complete a custom action"

There are two connectors, the first one for the OneDrive for buisness, that connects to my account, the second is to Outlook, to send an email to a specific user (after a file is modified).

Both connectors have a green checkbox to them.

I did notice that the "when a file is modifed section" in the flow, is set to a folder, not a specifc file. There is only one file in that folder, but not sure if the file is supposed to specified or not.

The run history for the flow only states that the "trigger failed".

When going into the details nothing is listed as ran, with the exception of the "Checks (no new data) column.

The file modified time in OneDrive looks to be accurate, but it looks like the flow is not dectecting the change.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,

Aaron

Re: Trigger Failed on my first simple flow

    Hi @Aaron_TE,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Further, could you please show a bit more about the error message?

I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned. My flow's configuration as below:9.JPG

Note: When you use the "When a file is modified" trigger, the Folder field is required to specify a folder rather than a specific file. The trigger would detect if there is a file modified in the specific folder.

The flow works successfully as below:10.JPG

Please check if the connection to the "When a file is modified" trigger is valid on your side, if not, please update the connection. In addition, you could also consider take a try to recreate your flow and check if the issue is solved.

More details about the "When a file is modified" trigger, please check the following document:

"When a file is modified" trigger of OneDrive for Business connector

    Best reagrds,

    Kris

    Hi Aaron,

Can you share the Flow-Id found in the url when viewing the Flow details?  The full url is fine, since we can get the Flow-Id from that and investigate further.

    Thanks,

    Nick
