Outlook to Planner

Hi all

I have built a simple flow that creates and assigns a planner task to an individual when a email is received into a shared mailbox.

It is working well however I want to add an exception if possible, is there a way it can be configured so it Does not create a task in planner if the email that mainly triggers it is a Calendar invite response?

Thanks in Ad

    Hello @NRGtim

You could add a condition control before creating the planner task, and check if the email has some words like "accepted" or "rejected". In any case, I have tested something similar, and when a user accepts or declines the meeting invite sent from my account, my flow is not triggered, although the triggering action is "when a new email is received".

I mean that meeting invites are not processed as they were normal emails. Could you check it out too?

    Regards,

    Ferran

This worked great thanks @v-bacao-msft !

is there a way that the flow can create the planner task based on a standard planner template?

In this instance I want to be able to trigger the flow based on a email subject (eg “employment request”) and ideally the standard planner task will be created with defined checks within the task, such as advertise, shortlist, interview etc??

    Thanks
