How to add the item link from parent to child's item using the flow?

Hi -

How do I add the item link from Parent list to the item in Child list?

For example -

Parent item link is IT-162. I want to add the link to the child's item Sub-IT157. So that user can click on the parent item link from the child item when working on it just to see what was done in the parent item link.

I researched so much and all were either from apps or email. Not what I am looking for.

Thanks!

@Holly_CMS  are you using SharePoint lists? If yes you can in child list, add lookup column that refers to parent list.

yes and how to do, please?

Ok, I did the lookup and it's coming up blank....I added a new item, nothing...

And is it going to provide a LINK in there where the user would click on it and it would open up the parent list where the parent ticket is?

@Holly_CMS  yes it will provide the link to the parent item. You need to set value for Parent ID column.

    Hi,

Can you please clarify what you meant above as far as "set value"?

I ask because the values are in the Parent's list....the lookup in Child's list is NOT pulling it down...

@Holly_CMS  sorry for not being clear. I meant that lookup value will not get automatically assigned, when you created item in the child list, you need to provide value for the lookup column.
