I am working on a requirement where I need to implement Reminder flows. These reminders to be sent to approvers until they have taken the action on their task.

Currently I am using Automated flows scenario, however the flows keeps on running for long hours.

Is there any other way to implement Reminder flows in Power Automate?

There are mainly two approaches to implement Reminder flows in Power Automate.

Automated flows - here you can use Delay Until loop along with Delay. However, as you mentioned that this may result into long running flows. Delay and Delay Until are actions used within the flow to pause its execution.
Other approach is to use Scheduled flows - using recurrence trigger - this is my recommended approach. This approach offers options for complex scheduling of the entire flow.

I think you can try Approach-2.
