Smartsheet Insert Row - Floats changing to Strings?

I'm struggling to figure out how to write a float into Smartsheet using the Insert Row connector.  When the value being input is a float, it always outputs as a string.

 

Input:

I've searched for a way to do this for several months, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

    Did you happen to review this thread? https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Using-Flows/Adding-numbers-to-a-row-in-SmartSheets/td-p/733864  - it seems like SmartSheet tries to copy it across while adding an apostrophe, so the solution here was to use a formula to substitute the added '.
