Hi, I am trying to create a flow that will record the date & time of any file in an excel file which is uploaded on sharepoint. Is there any template available which can be used to solve above purpose.

The problem with your scenario is that the trigger (when a file is created) is always tied to a specific document library. It would be relatively easy to create this flow for a specific library, but now way to make it work across an entire SharePoint site collection or tenant.  You would need one Flow/connector for each document library.

Thanks for your quick reply. You are correct. The trigger will apply on  'Document' library. Do we have any template available. It may be silly question but I am new to flow.

    HI @Anonymous

    Please see the screenshot below:

Here, whenever a new file is created in the documents library, an email is sent. The "Created" field is the date and time stamp this file was created.

Add a row in excel with the data.

    Hope this Helps!

    Hi

I am very close to get the desired output by follwoing the way you mentioned. It is really helpful. Awesome. I am just stuck in terms of date and time not captured in excel file. My flow ran successfully as I followed the exact steps. Please see below screenshots and help me.

You mean that the excel sheet was not updated at all? Can you please share the screenshot of the updated excel sheet if the sheet was updated with any values?
