Unable to run excel invisible

Hello,

I have a small flow where I open up an excel file, run the macro and then save the file down. When launching the excel while making instance visible, I have no problem following through. However, I always run into errors when I try and run the macro when the excel is invisible. Is there a way to run my excel macros without having to have excel visibly on my screen?

Thanks

    Hi cdschoy,

if you want run excel macro visible form , for that you can try when you launch excel that time make instance is visible or in macro coding you can use 'When used in a workbook this makes Excel visible :- Application.Visible = True

(Note:- if you got your solution you can mark as solution and gives kudos)

    Thanks & Regards

Can you elaborate a bit on the specific errors you are experiencing?

If your macro is derived from a recording then it will use relative addressing like "Selection"  or "ActiveWoorkbook" .  Those lose their meaning when the Excel file is no longer visible or when the user interacts with the file while your macro is running.  Refactor the macro code to use absolute addressing (treating sheets as objects etc) so the macro cannot be impacted by user actions.
