new vs old designer: 'create email V4' - old designer only shows html code view

I really don't like the new designer, so I routinely switch back to the classic designer. However, when I do so, there's a problem with all my workflows which involve 'send email (V4)'. The body of the email is stuck in html code view, and I can't toggle out of it. If I flip to the new designer I can toggle between html and regular view.

So Microsoft is forcing me to work with the new designer, when I don't want to. (I'm finding it buggy - strange things keep happening to the dynamic fields I'm using in my emails and flows that have been running successfully for months are suddenly failing).

I have the exact same problem with send an email v2 switching from the new to classic design... Did you ever figure it out or heard back from Microsoft on this issue ?

I had the same thing happen. Basically if you want to access the WYSIWYG (non html) view, you need to switch back to the new designer. From there you can toggle back and forth. Not ideal...but oh well

The only time I have found that you cannot switch back and forth to HTML code view in the e-mail action with the classic designer is if you first manually go into HTML mode and insert expressions or outputs from other actions that are not text or standard HTML code. If you are just setting up text and applying bold or other styling from the picker and go into HTML mode just to see what is being generated, I have never had an issue switching back.

    For example (Classic Designer):
I prefer this over the new designer as it goes and adds in its own styling and changes my HTML code, which messes up the CSS I am applying to the message and the format of the message (New Designer):
