Need a flow to copy certain folders from one document library to another document library

The recurrence can be daily but I want to make sure that all Adds, Edits and deletes will populate to the other document library.  A few flows I have found seem to miss something because they are not catching all of the documents.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @JGandor235,

What have you tried, were they templates?  It sounds like you don't just need to copy folders and documents from one library to another, but instead, you need to keep the two in sync (with adds, edits, and deletes of documents).

Usually, edits and deletes get missed because a simple "copy to" relies solely on the document title.  Instead, you need to create a new column in the destination document library where your flow can copy in the ID of the document from the source library.  This will help keep the two libraries in sync when documents are deleted because Power Automate can check to see where those IDs match.  Where there's an orphaned document in the destination library, delete that document.

Next, you create another new column that your flow will fill with the Modified date column from the destination library.  Have Power Automate routinely check whether or not the Modified column in the source library is the same as this new column in the destination library.  When they do not match, re-copy the document from the source library and replace the existing document.

    Keep us posted!

    Ashley
