Multi-select choice column from SP List to Excel file (add row)

I currently have this flow which works well in normal values. But for SP list column with multi-select choices, the cell only shows one selection.

Excel:

In SP List:

I'm trying out the video from @abm (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXEcLqDvCrc) but I'm stuck after Compose.

I tried this, then I don't know what to do anymore.

    Hi @Sharinah1

    Could you please tell me:

What do you want to achieve?

    Best Regards,

    Levi

Just wanted to confirm what you're trying to achieve with your flow.

    • When an item is created, use the output to create a new row in your Excel Table
    • When an item is modified, check if the item exists in the Excel Table.
      • If it does exist, update the row with the updated values
      • If it doesn't exist, create a new row with the values

And ensure that multiple select fields are getting all the values saved in your Excel Table

Is that fairly accurate, or were you trying to do something else?

Also, is there a column in your Excel Table that uniquely identifies what List item it refers to?

    Yes, this is exactly correct.

The unique item would be 'ID'. It's my key column (from excel) and key value from SP List.

Ok - I'll try to build a solution for you later - might be a few hours 🙂

    Hi @Sharinah1

You can use Select to get the values in the multi-choice column.
The values in the multi-choice column are in the form of an array, and you can use Join to convert the array into a comma-separated string.

    join(body('Select'),',')
