Error in basic PA flow

Hi All,

I hope you can help me, I am trying to learn to build simple flow  and it passed the test but I have this error occurring at the running stage: 'The execution of template action 'Apply_to_each' failed: the result of the evaluation of 'foreach' expression '@items('Apply_to_each_2')?['Bday']' is of type 'String'. The result must be a valid array.' I am sure it is something obvious to the tech guys but not to meeee 😉

Help please,

Ta!

You need to remove "?['Bday']" so it will be @items('Apply_to_each_2')

    Hi @Annnna

Could you please provide detailed screenshots of your flow?

Apply to each is used to iterate over each item in the array, so you need to select an array instead of other types of data.

items('Apply_to_each_2')?['Bday'] is the Bday field of the current item of the Apply to each 2 loop and cannot be used as a looped array.

    Best Regards,

    Levi

@Annnna when you are in the edit screen of your flow, open up each of the actions by clicking on the title of each action so we can see what you are doing. Then take a screenshot of the flow and post it up here. Something like the image below

Easy when you know how, ha ha, I was desperately clicking on the ellipsis only, now I got it lol I will post the screenshots by my original message. Thanks very much for that hint 🙂
