I have set up a leave form in Power Apps for employees to complete when they want to take leave, in case their manager is on leave I've set up a field where they can select particular managers in the company to approve.
The flow adds the leave to a sharepoint list and the selected manager gets an approval email. Depending on Approval/Rejection the requestor receives an email and the sharepoint list is updated accordingly.
The approval flow is working correctly, emails are going to the appropriate selected manager, the list is being updated, the requestor gets the Approved/Rejected updated email but my issue is that I am constantly receiving and error email that states "Get manager' action failed in flow.
'Get manager' action failed in flow 'Request manager approval' - An error ocurred in retrieving manager information. It's possible you AAD profile is missing managers details.
The flow doesn't actually request mangers details

Technically the error email is correct, there is no "Manager" listed against any staff member in AAD but if I update the AAD the manager gets an approval email (different to what I have written in my flow) and the person selected in the Manger field in the Power Apps app also gets an email.
Is there anyway of bypassing the AAD Manager so that we don't get the error message? Everything else works exactly as expected.
Any other suggestions?
