Creating a flow from Smartsheet to Outlook

Does anyone know how to create a flow for when a row is added to Smartsheet create an email in Outlook to an external recipient?

I don't have access to any 3rd party (ie, Zapier, etc) so that's not an option.

Cheers,

Kristine Gagne

There is a native Smartsheet trigger for when a row is created.  Its not a third party its directly from Smartsheet.

    Hello -

Yes, I came across that but could not figure out what was supposed to be in any of those fields, and how to add the attachments I needed. I did click on advanced where I saw attachments but there was no upload button. To me, it's not very intuitive.

When the row is added in Smartsheet, I'd like an outlook email to go to an external recipient (email info resides in one of the columns) and has 3 attachments.

Where are the attachments stored?  The flow will run automatically in the background so there will be no option to upload them when the flow runs.  But there are ways to retrieve them from OneDrive, SharePoint, or Google Drive. After you retrieve them from where they are stored its not all that difficult to add them as attachments in the email.

I'm not sure where the individual stores them - however we could use sharepoint or one drive. Would someone be willing to do a mock flow - it's the filling in of the required info that is challenging. Once I know how to do it the first time, I will be fine from there.

I'll try to do a quick POC for you later today.
