"Populate text field in window" cuts off text

"Populate text field in window" is now cutting off the text that is being sent. The length of the text that is sent is random.

I have tried replacing this action with "Send keys" and it also cuts of the text.

I added a Wait 2 seconds after these commands and it seems to be working.

Prior to updating to 2.18.146.22083, the above worked without the Wait commands. Any idea why this started failing following the update?

Hi @rkaiserhuyett ,

Always while in the new updates, many backend codes are changing. Even previously we can run 2 bot at a time, now in the new update we can't, so every update there will be some changes even wat you are faced similar.

I'm also seeing the same particularly with longer text. It will miss characters in the middle of the next and is a huge risk. PAD Team, please can this be fixed asap?

I am having the smae issue. rather long email is cut off at random spots.
Adding wait times and even increasing them to 10 seconds does not help.

Anyone? Anyone?? Beuller??? 😉

I was able to get around this issue by disabling "Unfocus text box after filling it"

Disabling "Populate text using physical keystrokes" and "Emulate typing" also fixes the issue in case for some reason you need to keep "Unfocus text box after filling" enabled

Hi all,

I have got the same issue, even with different kind of data input. After 6 characters the line of text and or numbers are cut off basically.

Is that the same with the rest?

Hey Hi,

Please disable the Populate Text using Physical Keystrokes button in Advance in Populate text field on webpage action as shown in below image.

Thanks for all of the responses. We need to clarify that the issue is with 'Populate text field in window' under UI Automation/Form Filling and not 'Populate text field on a web page'. These have different Advanced features.
