Hi all, I'm trying to update an excel file in sharepoint with data from power BI:

But I receive this error after 1 second:

Any idea how to solve it?

Thank you for your help

    Hi @Poma23

Here's an excellent article on some steps you can try to solve the problem: MS Flow giving “Graph API is unable to acquire or refresh a lock on the file because it is already locked.” message on excel file | coyleonsharepoint (wordpress.com)

    1. Clear the browser cache.
    2. Do not have the flow in edit mode (this actually can lock the file if you are working on the Excel action)
    3. Do not launch the flow and then, while the flow is running, try to edit the file (editing the flow can lock the excel file if you are working on an excel action causing the running flow to fail)
    4. Turn off the flow
    5. Open the excel file in the excel online, make a change, wait for it to save, (undo the change if appropriate).
    6. Do not have the file selected in a SharePoint list as this can activate the file preview and may cause locking (I only have anecdotal evidence for this one).
    7. Open the excel file in Excel app, make a change, wait for it to save (undo the change if appropriate).
    8. In SharePoint, check the file out, then check the file in.
    9. Delete the file, wait a few seconds and restore the file from the recycle bin.
    10. Check it out again, then check it back in.

    Hope it helps!

    Hi

Thank you for your response but it didn't help.
Now I am trying to take a new approach:

I start to create a HTML table with the data from Power BI. Then I create a file and use the data from the HTML table I have.
Everything is ok but the date format is like the image bellow and I can not change it in my excel file:

I wanted to use the “Convert time zone” but since I get the whole power BI data in my HTML, I don’t know how and where to add “Convert time zone” to my date in the new created file.

I also tried to add my data from power BI column by column in the HTML file to be able to use the “Convert time zone” but I get an error because my data is not in form of array.

    Could you pls help me?

    thank you
