I would like to export data to an excel document and then have the ability to create a flow to extract the data from the excel document and create tasks in planner based upon key words from the columns/rows in the excel document.

    Hi @RobMichaels,

How do you want the flow to be triggered? Currently, there is no trigger for Excel, here is a request for Excel triggers, please vote the idea at here:

While you could try to trigger the flow using a Button, then Get rows from the Excel, then Create a task in Planner using the details from the Excel table.

Please try it on your side and feel free reply if you need more help.

    Best regards,

HI, Thank you for the advice but I was able to find another work around which will suffice until those connections can be created.

Is there a way to download an excel template from Planner and then use that to upload tasks?

    Hi @RobMichaels ,

do you mind sharing the detailed flow with screen shot which you were able to make for creating the planner from excel.. i am struggling to get my start date and end date captured on the planner task correctly from the excel, so really appreciate your input/ help here.

    Thanks,

    Sachin

Looks like the Get Rows action has disappeared. The next alternative should be Get Tables, but that doesn't let you specify which one to chose.

What should we use instead of Get Rows?
