URGENT: Flow keeps changing the email v2 text editor to html

When i start an action 'Send email (v2)', i can see the text editor and can format everything. The minute i save it and open it again, it's changed to html, the editor is gone and i cannot undo anything or switch back to normal view.  
 
 
I need help to understand how to do i get rid of this and ensure this doesnt occur again.

    Also additional information- if i start a new action of the same type, I can see the editor again. Then the same old process repeats. I am at my witts end with this.
