statuscode 404 for "Get email (V2)"

Hi,

I am new to using power automate and have trouble with my flow. I want to trigger the flow whenever a new email is received in a shared inbox. Based on feedback from the Copilot AI, I have a "For each" loop with a "Get Email (V2)" action in it. Whenever I test, I keep receiving a status code 404 "Not found" error for the "Get Email (V2)" step that causes the for loop to also fail. The messageID seems to be picking up correctly, and I have not moved or deleted the test emails from my shared inbox. I wasn't able to find anything online for this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi @dlarin ,

This is a case of co-pilot not doing a good job but confident it will get better overtime. Ok, so your trigger already gets the content of the email so you don't need the loop or get email.

Not sure what you are doing with the http action but remove the loop and get email and should be good to go.  I also recommend switching over to classic and build the rest of your flow over there.

I'm a big fan of co-pilot but like, openai - it is not always correct.

    Hi @dlarin ,

Just noticed your http action is in a loop.  Delete the loop and action, save, go to classic, and re-add your http action.  The loop is not needed because the trigger is a single run process (one email at a time).

    Hi @dlarin ,

Could you please show the setting of 'Get email'?

Please check if you have entered shared box email address.

From your flow, you want to use the message id to obtain the details of the mail, but in fact, the trigger can provide us with these details, and we can use them directly.

    Best regards,

Thanks. I wasn't aware that the "Get Email" step was needed since we have all info in the trigger step. I'll chalk this up to the co-pilot AI

When I remove the "Get Email" action and use the data from the trigger step, I receive "null" or empty value.
Here's how it looks (Value is: 'body from trigger data' ends up empty)
