Licensing Problem

Hi, One of the users of my app has the following issue. He is added as a guest (through Azure) to my organization, however, it seems that for other people in his organization the app is working fine (but I am not 100% sure yet so it is only). I am pretty sure that the guest organization has the same version of PowerApps as me.

    Hi,

This looks like their account on their tenant does not have a Power Apps product assigned. This may be that their license (if E1 or any other that does not have power Apps) does not contain Power Apps, or that their admins have disabled it for that account if their office license does support it.

It would be worth getting their IT to check whether the user has a Power Apps license in their office subscription,

    Cheers,

    Sancho

@pal95 - yes, Sancho is correct.

The user could also try to create an app through https://web.powerapps.com

If the user hasn't been assigned a license, Power Apps should prompt the user to start a trial (if they've never taken a trial before). This should allow the user to access your app for the duration of the trial.

We called our IT department and the user has the license assigned, as same as others in the organization who can run the app normally, only he is informed by PowerApps that he do not have a licence.

What can be the solution then?

    Hi,

It would be best at this point to get Microsoft's technical support involved as they could provide a better answer.

Your IT can raise a support request here: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support

If your IT team are claiming that they have a license then it might be a different issue with that specific user.

    Kind Regards,

    Sancho

    Thank you for the response.

Could you please advise me where to raise a ticket? Support window is blank when I open the admin center, as below:
