Hi All,

I have a requirement that need publish job information on China recruiting website.

When I tried to set value in dropdown list field, it failed to select the item, I tried both "Run JavaScript function on web page" and "Set drop-down list value on web page” activities in PAD and both are failed.

    Hi @zxky18

If the Set Drop-down is not worked with the Name, can you check with the Index? Try using the index and check

Take wait time between two click activities and then check the selectors are stable

    I think this may work

    Hope this helps

If it is not a <select> type element, it's not a real drop-down list that Power Automate Desktop can work with. So, the only real option is by clicking via Click element in web page or Press button in web page. You need to click once to expand the drop-down and then once again on the option you want to select. If the option is dynamic, you might also need to include an action called Extract data from web page to retrieve the available options on the list, then find the index of the one you need, and use that index in the selector for the second click.

You will need to modify a web selector to include a variable (index) in it. If you don't know how to do that, please refer to this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/desktop-flows/build-custom-selectors
