An excel-built form to create a sharepoint item in a list

Hello,

I am trying to create a flow in an excel sheet that is built from a form. When the form is filled out, a row is inserted into the excel sheet with data, and I have to select the row I want (sans actually clicking the row for some reason; I have to click and drag which cells in a row I want to select) to run the flow. I am trying to get it so that the data is then inserted into a SharePoint item list, but the flow will not pick up any data. It seems like the flow is not actually picking up any data (per second screenshot). The actual file is /Job Files.xlsx/, but the flow renames it to that string of letters and numbers.

    Hi @Alarson214 ï¼Œ

Could you please share a full screenshot of your flow's configuration?

It seems you want to insert the responses from the form into a excel file. Then building a item from the excel data.

I have made a flow for your scenario, please check it for a reference.

While I do think that your flow would work, the issue is that the form's triggers can only see your own personal forms, and the forms that are created through SharePoint do not show up, because the form is not personal. For example, I created my own form through the forms website called "About You!". The form through SharePoint is called "New Job Form (Estimating)", and it does not show up.

    Hi @Alarson214 ,

As you discription, you created a form named 'New Job Form (Estimating)' in the SharePoint.

Could please share a screenshot of the form in the SharePoint?

Here I think you can't use the trigger about MS Forms, you need use the trigger via SharePoint.

I used a document library to create an excel sheet that is linked to a form.

    Hi @Alarson214 ,

I have made a test on my side, add the data from a Excel file in the SP library to the list.

However it works will, it doesn't has the issue you have mentioned.

Please check the excel file, make sure you have inserted the data from the Form into the file.
