Power Automate Desktop sign in not work in Server 2019, same account sign in well in windows 10

Hey guys,

Greetings...

I got a weird problem not sure if you ever met.

Thing is I can sign in my Power Automate Desktop in windows 10, but when I use remote desktop to connect to my virtual machine (windows server 2019), the sign in will stuck at a blank view after I input my company email and click sign in. It supposed to be a view to select my account, but it keeps always blank.

Did you know what's the problem and how to fix it...

Having a similar issue (same?) on a Windows Server 2016.... I suspect it's because it's launching Internet Explorer to do the login and it is being blocked by the security settings in IE.

Yes, my colleague added those blocked sites to the exception list and it worked. Might be worthy giving it a try.

Can we make it open on a different browser instead of IE as our server has IE disabled.

We have the same issue since IE is no longer supported, we have changed the default browser on the Win Server 2019 Standard virtual machine to Edge. However we are still getting this error when attempting to use Power Automate for Desktop.

Hi Guys,
You need to add these sites to trusted sites via internet options or GPO
This is not relly a bug or anything - it is just security measures implemented.

Hi Momlo,

We have updated the internet options on the workstation but error remains. I will reach out to our GPO team to determine if there is a policy preventing this in their configuration.
