How to upload HD photo to SharePoint using flow?

Hi,

I created an app where user captures image using camera control, and then uploads the image to SharePoint using flow.

Now the problem is, the image quality. The images are uploaded in really bad quality. Doesn't matter what device i am using the pictures remain 480 x 640 in dimension, and pictures are blurry as well. I want the images uploaded to be in HD.

How to achieve this??

Or Can "Add image" control be used to capture and upload images to SharePoint using flow?

I have found some guides and tried them, but I can't seem to make it work. I have tried the one from the link below, the flow works but images are not uploading to SharePoint

Please, Help me guys. 😥

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @LordGrim ,

The camera control in PowerApps will take this resolution, however if you take a picture on the camera away from PowerApps and the upload using the Add Picture control, it will be of the resolution taken.

There is however this is a different process to in Flow to saving a camera image from the camera control.

Here is a very good video from Paul O'Flaherty on the process.

    Hi @LordGrim

Well, there is not a lot to do. When you take an image through the camera control in PowerApps the size of the image will always be 640x480.

One thing you can do is take pictures from the devices native camera, and then select it from the 'Add picture' control in the PowerApp. Make sure then in the settings of the PowerApps application to run your app, to DESELECT next option:

    3.PNG

If it is selected, all uploaded images will be max 640x480 in any case.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi @LordGrim ,

We upload hundreds of photos from the control mentioned and have not needed to adjust the control, in fact bandwidth is the main issue in uploading them, however @SkiDK 's point is worth noting.
