Hi Community,

I'm fairly new to the Power Automate Desktop Application.

Process - User opens multiple websites & checks if there are banner ads available in them or no. If yes, take a screenshot with the URL & save it to the OneDrive.

Can someone help me how to achieve the above process using the Power Automate Desktop application?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi friend,

I've been playing around a lot with web automations to extract data and check for the presence of elements on a web page so hopefully my experience will apply to your task. Do you know the typical locations of these banner ads on the websites? If so, you could look at the "Extract data from web page" option, and using a known CSS selector for the banner (you can also use the element picker if you have the browser open on the web page) and check to see which values are actually pulled by using a conditional clause that detects valid variable assignments to then perform the screenshot and/or pull the URL using the "get details of web page" action.

Can you tell me a bit more about these sites and any known consistent conditions there are? If anything I can try to pull together a sample flow to help illustrate this once I know more about the conditions of the websites you're polling.

Thanks for your quick reply @BLawless

There will be no exact location of the banner ads on the websites. It keeps changing every often based on the request.

If you can showcase any pre-built flow that can be extremely helpful for me to understand.

    Hi

This is an old thread I can see, so you probably either got it sorted or gave up (hopefully the former). But for others who might be interested, you should be able to capture the UI element of the screen and then subsequently use print screen action and save the picture. I have demoed something very similar here, in case it might help anybody:

Take screenshots and store them in folders - Power Automate Desktop

    Best regards
