Linking folder A to B, C and D - HELP

Hey guys -

we're doing a reorg and because a given folder may reside in more than one place, but contain the same assets, we're wondering, if we can 'link' folders?

For example, say folder A is updated folders B, C, and D also get updated, and visa versa. So if folder D gets updated, the others get updated as well. Trying to mirror content on a folder structure where assets need to reside in multiple locations.

I was looking at the sync feature and I don't think that is what we're looking for. We're sort of looking for a mirror effect in order to maintain the same assets across the board in all folders affiliated with a given group of assets.

    Hi @JohnInDallas ,

If you would like to trigger a flow when a file created/modified/deleted in folder A and sync the same operation to folder B/C/D, that will be feasible and easy to complete.

However, if you would like to complete your request as per your description, that will cause a infinite loop.

To be specific, a new file created in folder A will start a flow to copy it to folder B/C/D. Then the copied file in folder B will start a flow to copy it in folder A/C/D...

So you have to ensure the following updates will only happen to one single folder once you would like to complete the sync process by Power Automate.

    Best regards,

    Wenjuan Zou

I do see the infinite loop problem. I will do some testing on this and see what comes of it. I'm going to see if I can do a 'compare' and have it look to make sure the files match in each of the folders instead of looking for a new file.

i can't thank you guys enough for the feedback and insight. I truly appreciate it.
