I have been trying to get this work with no success, I am able to insert records to the data table with text

with the insert row action but if I built the exact same syntax but put on a variable it doesnt work

I created a variable gridinsert which has the same syntax as the manual static text but it keeps sending error amount of values provided to be added dont match the columns of the data table

    Hi @rpatinopty ,

    Can just provide the screenshot of both DataTables and wanted to how many columns both Contains.

    Meanwhile,Double-check the number of columns in your data table.Both Should have same.

    (Note:- if you got your solution you can mark as solution and gives kudos)

    Thanks & Regards

    @rpatinopty

    Allow me to provide an example to illustrate how I implemented it in my specific scenario.

    Here's the structure of my data table:

    Deenuji_0-1717396645957.png

    And this is the format of my list:

    Instead of attempting to create individual rows, I directly extracted values from the grid list and inserted them into my grid records data table.

    After the insertion, the results appear as follows:

    It seems like your Set variable GridInsert is string of text. So thats why it will give error since you are trying to insert a string of text into a datatable that is expecting values for two columns. Since you only give it one string it gets value for one column alone.
    Your set variable GridInsert should looks like this:

    @eetuRobo

    My above suggested approach also works in similar way but where instead of creating a row, directly I pushed values from list into data table 🙂
