Extract line n from a PDF file

We have contract documents in PDF in this standard format 

 

1    PERSONAL & CONFIDENTIAL
2    7 October 2020
3    David Alex Lee
4    64, Line Avenue, UK, 520856
5    AGREEMENT FOR PROVISION OF SERVICES

 

Line 1 and 5 are part of the contract template that will not change.

 

What is the best approach to extract the contractor's name (Always on line 3) from such PDF files ?

    Hi,

     

    If you have your PDF format is fixed like that, so it is quite simple by using PDF action: Extract text from PDF, then using Split text with delimiter "New Line". After all, you will have a list of texts line by line. Then you just need to take the text with the index you want from the list (in your case, it should like this: TextList[2], it is line number 3.

    I think it is the easiest way to do.

    @miketran13 Is there any way to find a line number from a "text list" based on searching a text?
