Hello,

i have a flow to create a Team based on the information sent by a JSON file.

So aftre the creation of the new team, i need to post a message to a channel with power Automate (where the name of the channel is "Général")

i put in Teams ID field the ID variable generated when the new Team is created but what i have to put in the channel ID fields? (Get ID channel where channel name equal "Général") ==> how to translate that in expression for Power Automate?

Use the Teams ID in the List Channels action and then filter that array of channels on the display name being equal to the one you want.  That will give you the Channel ID that you need to post the message to the channel.  Something like this

    Hello,

Thank you for your quick answer.

when i create the "List channels" action, i get this error:

Failed to parse invoker connections from trigger 'manual' outputs. Exception: Could not find property 'headers.X-MS-APIM-Tokens' in the trigger outputs. Workflow has connection references '["shared_teams"]' with invoker runtime source.

So I just tried a flow doing what you have described and it works fine for me.  Here's the basic flow.

I have a similar issue. My filter array returns nothing. Looking at the Raw data, it is showing "display name" instead of Channel Name which could be the issue?

hi Pstock1, could you show how to copy a post in one channel and send it to the other channels.

the format, subject, everything will be the same as a original post.

    thanks
