Navigation Menu Gallery is visible and works as expected in editor and using Preview the app (F5). However, it is not visible when the app is played.

I created a navigation menu for the top of each screen using ClearCollect in the App section and a Gallery on each screen that references the collection. The menu gallery has a single button, and the collection has 8 entries. Everything works fine in the editor, and when I click Preview the app (F5). However, when I try to Play the app, the Gallery is not visible. There's a blank space at the top of the screen corresponding to where the navigation menu gallery should be. Sometimes on initial screen load there is a brief flash of vertical lines where the 8 buttons should be.

Any advice/help is appreciated!

Could you please share a bit more about your issue?

Could you please share a screenshot about your app's configuration?

Do you mean that the Navigation Menu Gallery is not visible when you play your published app?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned. Please consider turn off the "Improved app rendering (final validation)" option within Advanced settings of App settings of your app, then re-publish your app, check if the issue is solved.

Please also consider re-create a new app, then try it again, check if the issue is solved.

Thanks for your reply. The issue is resolved here.

We were trying to centralize control property settings on a single screen and use it as a reference for controls on other screens. Trying to have "one stop shopping" for controls across all screens.

For example, we would have the nav menu gallery on the reference screen, and set its Width property Ref_NavMenuGallery.Width = Parent.Width. Then reference this control on other screens such as the app Start screen. Start_NavMenuGallery.Width = Ref_NavMenuGallery.Width.

This worked fine in the editor and when using Preview the app (F5). However, it didn't work when we tried to Play it. Explictly setting the properties on all controls resolved the issue. Start_NavMenuGallery.Width = Parent.Width.
