Hi Everyone,

I am trying to build a flow that extracts a date (stored as text) from a PDF to an excel file.

This is the table in the PDF file:

I have access to the AI builder but I am unsure how to search in the output I receive and extract the information.

This is the very simple flow at the moment:

The output appears as the following:

Part of the header of the file:

Idan_1-1715233902924.png

and then within this I have the following output of the dates:

Idan_3-1715234069207.png

And this:

Idan_4-1715234095268.png

Is there any way recall only these two from this output?

please let me know if any more information is required to help.

Thanks!

    Hi @Idan ï¼Œ

Could you please upload the output code of your AI Builder control to me through a text file?

    Best Regards,

    Sunshine Gu

    Hi @Idan ,

You can try to use Parse Json to parse this code.

    Like this:

    Hi Sunshine,

Your exact steps did not work for me however they did point me in the right direction.

I am sure this can be made more elegant by someone with more experience, but this are the steps I took which ended up working for me:

The Select and Join actions turn the Parse Json to a really long string, which I then run the find text and substring to extract the information I needed.

Hope this helps others in the future.
