Parallel approval process in PowerApps

Hi,

How I can design parallel approval process through PowerApps. I have written the code but when multiple approvers try to approve at same time, server conflict error comes and they have to take action again.

It works fine if all approvers take action on pending approval after some time interval between them.

Please suggest me the way I can achieve this.

Your help is really appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

well, then you are going to run into issues like you described as there is no way to enforce whose choice wins if both people submit at the same time.

Actually I wanted to design parallel approval process through PowerApps only without using Power Automate.

In Power Automate, you can use the details of the person who responded to the approval by using the 'Response', which will allow you to see which response they gave, who they are and what comments they made - patch that information back to your row from power automate when the response is received

There's a module here on MSLearn that covers approvals that you can use to understand better 🙂

But how I can identify who has taken the action. That person have which role so that I can change approval status for it.

Use Power Automate's approval action, then call the flow from within the App to start the approval to multiple people
