Currently I have a workflow that is looking at a list on a sharepoint site that creates a site for each new item created in the list. Each list item comes with external emails that need to be granted access to the site as a guest user. Creating a new #EXT# account does not work for this application, and I must grant access to that external email. All my other attempts have been in vain, what can I do to solve this problem?
I would check with IT department to see if they have enabled external sharing. It may be turned off, which is why you are having issues. Where I work, we do not allow sharing links. However, even if it is enabled, the SharePoint site must also be configured for guest user access. Here are a few resources for you:
