Create List

I am working on an automate flows that creates a List for the current year. I already have it to the point where it checks to see if the List already exists. I'm stuck on the actual List creation.

With this:

I get this:

I thought maybe the "Content-Type" also needed "odata=verbose" but that gives me this error:

An entry without a type name was found, but no expected type was specified. To allow entries without type information, the expected type must also be specified when the model is specified.

    Hi @IPC_ahaas ,

Will it work if you add a metadata field?

    I got the same error:

    IPC_ahaas_0-1665577907999.png

I added the 'parameters' bit and it still didn't work.

    Hi @IPC_ahaas ,

Will it work if you use header 'application/json' instead of 'application/json;' ?

    Doing that, I get:

The property 'parameters' does not exist on type 'SP.List'. Make sure to only use property names that are defined by the type.

    Hi @IPC_ahaas ,

Please try to delete the 'parameters' field in payload. 🙂

    Now it says:

The property '__metadata' does not exist on type 'SP.List'. Make sure to only use property names that are defined by the type.

I ended up figuring this out a different way using these posts:

Create new SharePoint list from existing SP list with Power Automate (tomriha.com)

This example creates a duplicate of the List in a different Site, which isn't what I was after. But then this post:

Change the name of SharePoint list 'from template' with Power Automate (tomriha.com)

Has a different script which demonstrates how to specify a new name.

There is somewhat of an error in their script that is mentioned in the comments. The replacement code needs to be surrounded by [ and ]. Their image shows this, but they're code does not.
