Send a file from a sharepoint folder via E-Mail creates corrupted File attachment

I have created a workflow that should regularly send a file from a sharepoint folder by e-mail. As long as there is only one file in this folder, it works perfectly. As soon as there are several files there, the e-mail is sent, but the file in the attachment is corrupt. In addition, the name of the file can change (e.g. test20240312.xlsx and later text20240313.xlsx). How can this be realised?

Here my current flow:

    Hi @Hans-Dirk ,

There is no obvious problem in your flow.

Sometimes, the problem may be caused by the new designer. I recommend you switch to classic designer and test again.

    Best regards,

    Rimmon

    @Hans-Dirk

Before I start this one, it seems you want to send one or all of the files in that folder at the time the recurance kicks in.

If this is the case then you need to add a lot more to your flow.  The flow needs to get all the files in the folder and this needs to be done correctly.  The below might be useful for you if you have not seen this.

You wil lneed to ammed the above to suit your needs but hopefully that should not be too much of an issue.

Let me know when you have tried the above and if it works for one or muliple files.

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Hello @v-mengmli-msft ,

Thanks for your tip. It was really because I was using the new designer. Apparently it has packed all files in the directory into the FileContent and thus corrupted the file.

    Best regards Dirk

    Hello @Andrew_J

thank you for your hint. In this case I only want to send a single file. But this will help me for my second question where I only know the beginning of the requested filename.

    Kind regards

    Dirk
