Power Automate Flow Service Account Shared Mailbox

Hi,

I have a question about using service account for Power Automate flows. So, we are having talks about using a service account in an automated flow for the purpose of continuity.

Would it be possible to use shared mailbox email as Send As? Because the plan is to continually change the Send As email as it is being used from multiple departments. Let's say there is a service account, User 1 has access to SharedMailbox1 and User 2 has access to SharedMailbox2. They can switch the Send As email anytime as long as they have access and will run with no issues.

    Hi @RobIsidro17 ,

Yes, we can send email and use shared mailbox email as Send As.

Please go to admin center and click on the shared mailbox.

Choose 'Send as' permission and add users into it.

    Best Regards,

And at the same time, they can use the shared mailbox as Send As if they are part of the service account?

    Hi @RobIsidro17 ,

If you are using service account as the flow connection, I think you need to add the service account to the 'send as' permission of shared mailbox.

    Best Regards,

oh yes that would be even better. thank you for your suggestion! but in cases that users (that are members of the service account) have different to each shared mailbox, can they still use their shared mailbox as send as in a flow?
