Microsoft List to Email - Power Automate

Hi!

I have been building a Power App for some time now. I have the app functioning, and I have the Microsoft List updating directly when the App is completed/updated. I'm trying to get the Microsoft List to automated Email function to work. My App is a new user request app for onboarding purposes; it is built to send automated emails to particular recipients based on the selected items in the Power App. I cannot get passed this step.

Step 1: When an item is created

Step 2: Condition

- Condition expression*

Provide the values to compare and select the operator to use.

OR

RequestsNeeded

×

is equal to

ALICE

RequestsNeeded

×

is equal to

Name Tag

Step 3: Send an email (V2)

ActionBranchingConditionNotSatisfied

The execution of template action 'Send_an_email_(V2)' skipped: the branching condition for this action is not satisfied.

I am working on getting one control going before building multiple, and I cannot get past this step. Any ideas about what might be causing this? Could it be my login permissions? I have two accounts; one is a regular work account, and the other is a DEV.ot

    Hi,

It is unclear what the issue is because we need to see the condition action as entered, not as described text.  But in short, the root cause is because RequestsNeeded does not equal ALICE or Name Tag.

Please show the column with the RequestsNeeded and your condition action.

Also because you are referring to ALICE in caps, you may need to wrap your RequestsNeeded dynamic content in an expression as

    toUpper(RequestsNeeded_dyanamicContent)

    Here's an example:  toUpper(items('Apply_to_each')?['ID'])

    ------------------------------------------------

If this was helpful, please like and/or mark as a verified answer to help others find this too!

    Always glad to help! 💯💯💯💯💯
