Expense Report MS Learn Error

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 105

Hello, I am working on building the expense report from the MS learn modules and I am receiving an error on my "Save as Draft" and "Submit" buttons. It looks like the issue is due to the Report Status but I am not sure how to fix it. From what I can tell the formatting is correct and the column exists in the dataverse table as 'Report Status'. I also have the correct status options. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @v-xiaochen-msft Appreciate your help. I think I have fixed it. I dont seem to be getting the error anymore.

Changing the formula to the following seemed to work:

"'Report Status': 'Choices Expense report status'.Draft,"

That said does that mean that I should have pointed to the choices option in the report status column, instead of pointing to the actual report status column itself?

    Hi @RogerCP66 ,

Yes, your guess is right. We can invoke the name of the global choice in the actual choice column.

    Best Regards,

    Wearsky
