Latency in recognizing Custom Connector modifications

Hello everyone,
I've recently started working with Power Platform, specifically with Power Automate.
I'm developing a Custom Connector to simplify calls to a set of internal APIs, but I've noticed that changes to the connector are not always immediately (or correctly) reflected in the flows that use it.
Here are a few examples:
  • When I add or remove an action, the Instant Flow still shows the old actions and not the updated ones.
  • When I change the authentication method from Basic Authentication to None, the flow still prompts me to create a connection, even though it's no longer required.
  • When I delete the connector entirely, it still appears as an available option within the flows.
I’d like to know how long it typically takes for these changes to be recognized by the platform, or if there are any tricks I can use to make the updates visible more quickly.

Thank you.
Best regards

    Hi

The below is from the MS documentation.

If you update (remove, add, or change) a field in the API, perform these steps:

    1. Republish the connector so it looks at the updated Swagger for the API.
    2. Remove any connection / data source in any app that used that connector.
    3. Re-add the connection / data source for that connector back into the apps.

You mentioned  when you delete the connector entirely, it still appears as an available option within the flows. This is most likely the cache issue. Try clearing the cache or a private browser window.

    Thanks

    Hi,
thanks for you kind response. I obviously overlooked the documentation, I'll surely delve into that!

I'll try to follow those tips next time and see if it helps. While developing I didn't find any option to "republish the connector", maybe the docs are referring to the "Publish all customization" command in the Solution?

Anyway, thanks again for your help!
    Best regards
