Hi everyone,
I’m trying to build a Cloud Flow that should trigger a Desktop Flow.
I’m working on a tenant where I have Power Platform Administrator rights.
I already checked and confirmed that no DLP policy in the environment should be blocking the Power Automate Desktop connector. I also checked that my Machine, my Desktop Fow and my Cloud Flow are all in the same Environment.
Here’s what happens:
When I add the connector in my flow, I can successfully create a connection and connect.
In the “Desktop Flows” dropdown, I can also see all available Desktop Flows.
But as soon as I select one of the Desktop Flows, I get this error: 'The dynamic operation request to API 'uiflow' operation 'GetUIFlowMetadata' failed with status code '442'. This may indicate invalid input parameters. Error response: { "status": 442, "message": "Request blocked due to DLP policies for tenantId '[TenantID]', environmentId '[EnvID]' and 'uiflow'. Last refresh: 2025-08-08T19:26:08.7277472+00:00." }'
I appreciate every of your answers! :)
